Will this man ever go back to life without accusations? Now that the charges are about be dropped here in the US, someone in France wants to press charges. Is this guy this reckless? Or do we have a bunch of women seeing an opportunity to come up financially? Only time will tell.
Former International Monetary Fund head Dominique Strauss-Kahn may face new sexual assault charges in France this week, days after charges against him in New York appeared to be on shaky ground.
The French writer Tristane Banon will file a criminal complaint with prosecutors against Strauss-Kahn on Tuesday, alleging attempted rape, her lawyer David Koubbi told CNN Monday.
Banon's mother, Socialist politician Anne Mansouret, said in May that her daughter had been attacked by Strauss-Kahn in 2002 but that she had discouraged her daughter at the time from filing charges.
Strauss-Kahn was arrested in New York this year on suspicion of attempting to rape a hotel maid. He resigned as head of the IMF.
