I am pretty sure that some one will find something negative about this as well. I will be glad when the President finally realizes that some of these people can not be pleased, no, matter what he does. If they want to find fault and place blame, they will figure out a way to make that mission his fault as well.
President Barack Obama made a surprise trip Tuesday to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware to honor the remains of 30 service members killed over the weekend in Afghanistan.
Obama did not speak publicly during his visit, but on Monday he paid homage to the fallen troops at the conclusion of his remarks at the White House on the nation’s credit downgrade.
“Their loss is a stark reminder of the risks that our men and women in uniform take every single day on behalf of their county,” Obama said. “Day after day, night after night, they carry out missions like this in the face of enemy fire and grave danger. And in this mission — as in so many others — they were also joined by Afghan troops, seven of whom lost their lives as well.”
