Yes, I would have to admit, Mary seems to be a little scorned. She waited a long time to be heard. What she fails to realize is, it's over! Don't be looking for a pity party. Don't be dragging your son into it. Steve has obviously gone on with his life and to be talking about what Steve and his current wife are doing, is saying that she hasn't let go. She's seeking some kind of "closure". I don't agree with how she's going about doing it, but if this is what it takes for her to move on, so be it! Just don't expect any sympathy. He has money, fans, and power. Can't fight that with youtube!
@Yvette, I would have to agree with you - she is seeking closure. Which means, in my opinion, that whatever the underlying issue is between them, it has not been resolved. Moreover, at this point, it has the potential to get really bad - for all sides. So, what is a woman to do. Should she ignore her feelings; should she ignore the fact that she thinks she has been wronged; Now the Steve has the perceived power: the money, the fame; the attorneys; etc. Mary may think that she is powerless. As a result, the YouTube blast is her way of regaining back some of that power.
No, youtube is a way of putting everybody in her business! Everyone has an opinion, especially those on the outside looking in. She could have handled this behind closed doors. Her trying to tarnish his image or ruin his reputation is defining her as a woman scorned. I think there's more to it. She's broke and mad to say the least. I bet if she had a life, some money or a man of her own, Steve would be the least of her worries.
I agree. If a person has moved on and has a life of their own, then noone outside of their immediate relationship would such an impact on their lives. However, I think that there is something she is looking for from Steve. It may be an apology; it may be sympathy; it may be love; or it may be money. But, it is definitely something.
