Dez Bryant isn't the only Dallas Cowboys wide receiver who is having some off-field woes involving jewelry. It's Roy Williams' turn in court as he tries to regain a ring after a engagement that never was.
In wake of a marriage proposal gone wrong in February, The Odessa American reports Williams filed a lawsuit last Thursday with the intent of reclaiming a ring he had mailed to a former Texas beauty pageant winner. The reported value of the piece is nothing to sniff at during an NFL lockout that has put a cloud over players' incomes: $76,600.
Back around Valentine's Day, Williams had sent the ring, along with his recorded proposal to Brooke Daniels, but Williams' romantic gesture was met with Daniels declining to marry him.
