Steve Harvey's ex-wife Mary goes on YouTube rant, alleges actor cheated during their marriage..
In an article by the NYDailyNews.com, it gives an account of Steve Harvey's response to the youtube blast by his ex-wife. The story says,
"Mary went on to allege that in exchange for dropping the suit, Steve's lawyers prepared a letter – which was shown on screen – for her to sign taking responsibility for the demise of their marriage and a variety of rumors about the comedian on the Internet.
At the end of the third and final video, Mary credited Shanae Hall's book, "Why Do I Have to Think Like a Man?" – a response to Steve's "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man" book from 2009 – as helping her find closure.
As for Steve himself, when a Twitter user asked him if he was "upset about your ex-wife's recent allegations," he said he doesn't "respond to lies."
"God just keeps blessing and covering me....ISAIAH 54:17," he tweeted in reply Friday.
But by Sunday, Steve's attorney, Bobbie Edmonds, had released a statement saying they were "appalled and aware of the videos and other fabricated documents."
Asserting that the videos "contained false, misleading, derogatory, disparaging, malicious, explicit and slanderous information," Edmonds said they are "saddened" that Mary "has resorted to such devious and selfish behavior, with a reckless disregard for their minor son, her adult son and Mr. Harvey's other children."
The attorney said there are "court orders and permanent injunctions which prohibit either part… from discussing and releasing information on the Internet and to the media."
"We are taking the necessary legal steps to rectify this matter to the full extent of the law," Edmonds said, "and we will be seeking contempt and sanctions against her for such reprehensible and callous disregard for the court orders.""
