What's a ''Like'' Worth?

Interesting article on Forbes.com that measures the worth of a "like." The article contends that "... although Facebook can provide real names of people who "like" a product, it doesn't provide data on what sites are sending traffic to a fan page, how long visitors are spending there and how they're moving around inside it. No additional analytics services can be installed on Facebook pages."

This is very interesting and has the potential to change the valuation of Facebook. I would argue that unless Facebook could give provide real analytics, then it is no better than a legacy website "hit counter." However, to their credit, Facebook did recommend using Google Analytics or Omniture for a more comprehensive look into what their visitors are doing and where they are spending their time. SMH. What do you think?
