Michael Jordan looks to continue his legacy by opening up a Steakhouse in Chicago at the InterContinental Hotel on Michigan Avenue. According to the Huffington Post, this comes a little over a decade after his last restaurant closed due to a legal dispute.
Although, he won't be facing the 1988 Eastern Conference Detroit Pistons (Bad Boys) he is likely to face the same level of competition from Morton’s and Rosebud, two well-established steak houses in Chicago. Never the less, if Michaels steaks are as good as his "jumper," his new restaurante is sure to be a slam dunk.
In a recent article at Eurweb.com, it contends that Jordan already owns two steakhouses, in New York’s Grand Central Terminal and at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut." The article go on to say that, "In June 2010, the NBA icon was ranked as the 20th most power celebrity in the world by Forbes Magazine. He reportedly earned $55 million between June 2009 and June 2010."
