Happy Birthday Dr.Suess

My son has been talking about Dr. Suess all week. He loves Dr. Suess books. It is so exciting to watch him recall a story they read at school. He is quite the character with facial expressions, body movements and the like. How fitting that Lorax comes out this weekend. We will cap off the celebration with a trip to the movies this weekend. He is going to be so excited.

Theodore Geisel, a.k.a Dr. Seuss, one of the world’s most beloved poets, never shied from current events or issues close to his heart. In his tales for children, he touched on climate change, racism and isolationism, all wrapped in fantastical wordplay and brightly colored comic drawings.
