Keke Palmer Leads Cast of New Nickelodeon TV Movie

This is so exciting. I absolutely love KeKe Palmer. She is such a talented young lady. I am glad she has found a home with Nickelodeon. She has definitely grown over the years. I think it is great that Nick Cannon is using his connections to tell different types of stories. As we know, KeKe can hold her own with the best of them. I can't wait until this movie comes out.

Keke Palmer of the Nickelodeon comedy True Jackson, VP is to star in the network's new original TV movie Rags.

The music-filled Rags puts a modern spin on the classic Cinderella story, set in New York City. Palmer stars as Kadee Worth, while Max Schneider (How to Rock) is Charlie Prince. Prince is an orphan living with an unloving father and spoiled stepbrothers. His dream is to be a singer, but he can't seem to catch a break. Worth is the daughter of a music mogul and an international pop phenomenon. The two find each other and finally get what they have been looking for: a voice, a stage, an audience and each other.
